At Pet Protect, we understand just how important it is for your bundle of joy to take their first step on the pathway to social behaviour and heaps of happiness.

We provide the very best in New Zealand puppy training having meticulously hand picked our qualified trainers. To ensure teaching continuity throughout New Zealand all of Pet Protects puppy trainers complete an internal practical teaching module before we certify them as a Pet Protect Puppy Trainer.

It’s now over to you to return your puppy the favour and enrol them in your nearest Pet Protect Puppy School.

What is a Puppy Preschool?

This a 4 week course designed specifically for puppies aged between 8 & 16 weeks.

Who should attend a Puppy Preschool?

The course is designed for new and experienced owners. Our schools are progressive in teaching techniques’ providing attendees and their pups the very best in schooling.

Why Socialise your puppy now?

It is widely accepted that during the early development of a puppy structured social contact exerts the maximum effect on their behaviour. This period is referred to as the ‘critical period of socialisation’.

We teach your dog to trust you as unbalanced dogs often exhibit unwanted or anti-social behaviour. Our schooled pups lead social, friendly and well adjusted lives.

$120 per four week course

Entry Requirements

Your puppy must be vaccinated before attending the course.

One to One Tuition

We also offer private tuition for your puppy or dog in the comfort of your own home. Private tuition is specifically tailored to the needs of your pet.

One to One tuition within the Auckland region is hosted by Melika Barnes.

Rates

$80 for a 90 minute private session

$220 for three 90 minute session’s tailored to your dogs needs.
